Iraq Is Committed to Improving Banking Services

During our visit to Iraq we had the honour to meet His Excellency the president of the Republic of Iraq, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid. The president and the government are committed to improving banking services and accelerate the digitalisation of the country.

Together with our joint venture partner TrustNoteD AG, our discussions centred around the transformative potential of DLT in enhancing transparency, security, and efficiency in financial transactions and governmental processes. We firmly believe that leveraging innovative technologies like blockchain can pave the way for a more inclusive and resilient economy, especially in the field of the upcoming carbon economy.
